Lead Curriculum Developer

With over 20 years in addiction counseling education, Dr. Chen has trained thousands of clinicians across the country. Dr. Roberto Martinez

PsyD, LCSW, CASAC

Clinical Director

Dr. Martinez brings 15 years of clinical experience spanning outpatient, residential, and hospital-based addiction treatment programs. As Clinical Director, he ensures all course content reflects current best practices and real-world clinical realities. His specialties include co-occurring disorders, family systems approaches, and clinical supervision. He is a sought-after presenter at national conferences on integrated behavioral health care.

Angela Johnson

MS, CADC, CPRS

Peer Services Training Lead

Angela brings a unique perspective to our team as both a credentialed addiction counselor and a certified peer recovery specialist with lived experience. She leads our peer specialist training track and champions the integration of peer support into clinical treatment settings. Her courses emphasize the power of shared experience, ethical boundaries for peers, and the science of recovery capital.

Dr. Priya Patel

MD, FASAM

Medical Education Advisor

A board-certified addiction medicine physician and Fellow of the American Society of Addiction Medicine, Dr. Patel brings deep expertise in medication-assisted treatment (MAT), pharmacology, and the neuroscience of addiction. She advises on all medically oriented course content and ensures our curriculum keeps pace with the latest advances in addiction medicine, including emerging therapies and harm reduction strategies.
